Is this a job?
No. Mindrift is a project-based platform where contributors earn extra income training AI models. There is no employment contract and no fixed hours. Most contributors participate alongside their primary career.
How much can I earn as an AI Trainer?
Specialized projects range from $15 to $100+ per hour, depending on project complexity and your domain expertise. All-access tasks offer lower pay for quicker, less demanding tasks. Compensation is always visible before you begin each task.
What qualifications do I need?
Specialized projects require domain expertise in your field. 70% of our contributors hold a Master's degree or PhD. We accept experts across 90+ domains from STEM and law to creative writing and linguistics. All-access tasks are open to everyone.
How and when do I get paid?
Payments are processed bi-weekly. You earn per completed, accepted task and the amount is shown before you start.
What kind of AI training tasks are available?
Writing expert prompts, evaluating AI-generated responses, justifying your assessments, and creating training data in your domain. Tasks range from simple ratings to complex multi-step projects.
Do I need AI experience to get started?
No, we provide all the AI-specific onboarding you need. To join a specialized project, you will need domain expertise — your professional knowledge is what makes AI better. All-access tasks are open to everyone, regardless of expertise level.
