Design the future of AI
Your creative eye helps AI understand great design. Join a flexible, paid, remote design project now!

AI can generate visuals, but it can't judge whether they meet professional standards. Through Mindrift, experienced designers evaluate AI-generated outputs and create reference materials that teach models what good design looks like to shape how AI learns composition, typography, color, and brand consistency.
Design projects on Mindrift pay up to $50 per hour, with rates visible before you start any task. Projects are fully remote and flexible and most contributors participate between 5 and 20 hours per week alongside other commitments.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of design tasks will I do?
You evaluate and improve how AI models generate visual content, not create designs for end clients. Typical tasks include assessing AI-generated layouts for composition and effectiveness, comparing design options and ranking them by quality, reviewing brand asset consistency, and sometimes creating reference designs that models learn from. Every task helps train AI systems to produce more professional visual output.
Which design tools do I need?
The tools you need depend on the project. Familiarity with industry-standard design software like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or Canva Pro is expected. Some tasks may only require visual assessment, while others involve producing reference materials using the tools you prefer and have access to.
Do I need AI or coding experience?
No. Design expertise is the qualification. You are evaluating AI-generated visuals as an experienced designer, not building or training AI models. If you can identify a poorly balanced layout, explain why a color palette doesn't work, or spot inconsistent typography in a brand system, you have the skills these projects require.
Can I work across multiple design disciplines?
Yes. If your skills span brand, web, graphic, and presentation design, you can contribute to tasks across disciplines as they become available. Your assessment may cover the specialization you indicate at application, but there are no restrictions on participating in multiple project types.
How much can designers earn?
Design projects on Mindrift currently pay up to $50 per hour. Rates are set per task and visible before you begin. Payments are processed twice a month with no hidden fees or deductions.
How flexible is the schedule?
Completely flexible. You choose when and how much to contribute – there are no fixed hours, shifts, or minimum weekly requirements. Most contributors participate between 5 and 20 hours per week alongside other commitments. All tasks are asynchronous.

Yes. Mindrift is owned and operated by Toloka AI, a global leader in AI data since 2014, headquartered in Amsterdam. Over 20,000 experts from around the world have contributed to Mindrift projects for leading AI companies. Payments are processed reliably twice a month.
