She began with dual degrees in art and anthropology at the University of Michigan. She then pursued a master’s degree in fine arts at Syracuse University, specializing in digital arts. This combination equips her with the ability to seamlessly blend traditional art with contemporary digital media — a rare and valuable proficiency.
Tanisha kicked off her professional career in higher education where she rose from a designer to creative director at Syracuse University. However, the pandemic prompted a pivot to remote work at Mattel, where she now designs for the Dallas team.
At Mindrift, Tanisha wears multiple hats. She's an AI Tutor specializing in humanities, covering a broad spectrum from language arts to performing arts. Her role extends to editing, ensuring the content's quality and relevance.
Tanisha's embrace of AI is particularly noteworthy. She sees it not as a threat but as a tool to enhance creativity. Her experience with AI tools has transformed her design process, making it more efficient and inspiring. She believes that AI will continue to play a crucial role in her work, especially in brainstorming and mood-boarding.
